I never would have thought to use 400mm for a shot like this,(even if I had one) - I think the selective DOF works well and the color is dazzling, IMO.  Nicely seen and captured, Rob.

Great shot Rob! I think the two prominent tall violet flowers in the middle are key for achieving this result.
