First shot is a little busy but I suppose that's typical of an Asian market. Second shot is superb.

Sorry I didn't get here sooner Ian.  You sure seem to be having a wonderful time at your new homeland.  The wide angle lens works well here.  I agree the #1 image seems busy with the main weight of the image being with the wagon I'd experiment with some cropping...maybe remove the left area up to the wagon... to balance it out...I'd experiment with it.  Not sure about the sun position seeing the fellow's face is in dark shadow.  Maybe selecting his face and popping up the brightness in curves or levels will bring out his face more?  All in all I love the feel of these shots Ian...and am enjoying all of your new images.  Thanks so much for sharing.   Grin
