A couple of new versions, done initially in Lightroom and finished off in PS7. No HDR just straight tweeks.. Taken with Canon 1D = Sigma 15-30 DG..

Excellent framing in your first shot Ian, I like that a lot, good stuff. Now the last one, we discussed. Nice to see you put it up, but the viewers can't see the dog! I can still hear it going crazy barking.........and NO, you are not telling the dog story!!!!,,,,Oh no,,,,not in my room,,,,,I wanna keep my job!

I don't mind selective coloring when not overused and this is the case in this image, give an almost 3D look to the image. Nice work...

I'm not sure how much more of this you folks can take, but this thread has been a blast and much fun to do. This is a shot of Byland Abbey (Ian has posted a couple already) from the same day. This was a much easier location to shoot as it was less busy, but just as photogenic as Rievaulx Abbey. Tried the B&W treatment and a little vignetting just to disguise the fact the sky was pretty bland and unforgiving.........well, you have to keep on trying, eh?
